American Holistic Nurses Association "AHNA is the definitive voice for holistic nursing, and promotes the education of nurses, other healthcare professionals, and the public in all aspects of holistic caring and healing."
American Nursing Information Association An association dedicated to advancing “the field of nursing informatics through communication, education, research and professional activities.”
Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) “A professional association that empowers the OR nurse with education, standards of practice, and peer networking.”
Immunization Action Coalition “The Immunization Action Coalition works to increase immunization rates and prevent disease by creating and distributing educational materials for health professionals and the public that enhance the delivery of safe and effective immunization services.”
National Association of School Nurses “NASN is the leader in advocacy for student health and for professional development of school nurses.”
Transcultural Nursing Society An organization dedicated to enhancing “the quality of culturally congruent, competent, and equitable care that results in improved health and well being for people worldwide.”

American Association of Colleges of Nursing “The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) is the national voice for America's baccalaureate and higher-degree nursing education programs.”
Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursnig Schools “CGFNS International is an internationally recognized authority on credentials evaluation and verification pertaining to the education, registration and licensure of nurses and health care professionals worldwide.”
National Council of State Boards of Nursing A not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide an organization through which boards of nursing act and counsel together on matters of common interest
National League for Nursing “Dedicated to excellence in nursing education, the National League for Nursing is the preferred membership organization for nurse faculty and leaders in nursing education.”
National Student Nurses Association “The National Student Nurses’ Association mentors the professional development of future registered nurses and facilitates their entrance into the profession by providing educational resources, leadership opportunities and career guidance.”
Organization for Associate Degree Nursing As the leading advocate for Associate Degree Nursing, OADN promotes academic progression of graduates in furthering education to reach their maximum professional potential. All associate degree nurses should have access to pursue additional nursing education. OADN welcomes partnerships and collaboration with the other national nursing organizations to support academic progression in nursing, leadership, and improvements in healthcare practice and delivery. Collaboration with these organizations will facilitate the unity of the nursing profession. OADN continues to disseminate information and provide an arena for collegial networking to those who are passionate about Associate Degree Nursing.
Sigma Theta Tau An international nursing honor society providing a network for nurses to share “knowledge, scholarship, service and learning to improve the health of the world’s people.”

American Assembly of Men in Nursing An organization created “to meet, to discuss and influence and influence factors which affect men as nurses.”
Asian American / Pacific Islander Nurses Association AAPINA serves as the unified voice for Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) nurses around the world. AAPINA strives to positively affect the health and well-being of AAPIs and their communities
National Association of Hispanic Nurses “A non-profit professional association committed to the promotion of the professionalism and dedication of Hispanic nurses”
National Black Nurses Association An association of African American nurses who seek to “investigate, define and determine what the health care needs of African Americans are and to implement change to make available to African Americans and other minorities health care commensurate with that of the larger society.”
National Coalition of Ethnic Minority Nurse Associations NCEMNA “is a unified force advocating for equity and justice in nursing and health care for ethnic minority populations.”
