Adding Information Literacy–Core Links to an LMS

Links to the Credo Information Literacy Core tutorials can be added to your Blackboard course. Students will be able to access the material directly from Blackboard, with no need for any extra log-in information. When they take a test or quiz via the Blackboard, their grade will sync directly to the gradebook.

If you wish to include Credo tutorials in your class fill an instruction request for asynchronous instruction and indicate what you would like to students to learn - http://lamar.libinsight.com/instruction.  A librarian will provide you with the links for the content items.  You can add them to your Blackboard course following the simple steps depicted below.

Adding the links is easy as 1,2,3!

  1. Simply create content as you would for any item in your course.
  2. Select the “Teaching tools with LTI connection” option as depicted below

  1.  Paste the video/tutorial link(s) provided to you by the librarian in the Configuration URL box.

From there you can select any other settings you would like including link name, visibility and any grading options.

If you encounter any problems adding the content, contact the librarian who provided the links, and they will work with you to resolve the issue.
