One elevator will always be available, but access to some library elevators will be limited.
The Starbucks on the 1st floor remains open for the Fall 2024 semester. However, there are no longer any vending machines in the library.
As of October 2024, the parking lot directly behind the library is closed. The parking lot in front of the library (E-5) remains open.
As of November 2024, the library renovation has added a fence around the job site for Phase 1. A covered pedestrian walkway has been added at the library's main entrance; access to the library will continue. Access to all adjacent buildings remains, but typical walking paths are affected. This fence will remain until at least July 2025.

The Circulation Desk remains open on the 1st floor. Come here if you need help with locating a physical book. The library collections are being housed on the 3rd and 4th floors, which are not currently open to students. Also come here if you need to check out a table in the Whisper Zone or dry erase markers.
The 1st floor will continue to have printers and a limited number of computers and study tables for use. Due to construction noise, earbuds, headphones, or earplugs are strongly recommended.
The Whisper Zone is a quiet, communal study area on the 1st floor with 21 tables and dry erase boards. You can check out dry erase markers at the Circulation Desk.
The IT Service Desk remains on the 1st floor of the library. You can come here for IT assistance as well as to borrow a laptop. Check the IT Help and Support website (link opens to new window) for their contact information.
The 2nd floor will continue to a limited number of study tables for use. Due to construction noise, earbuds, headphones, or earplugs are strongly recommended.
The 3rd & 4th floors are temporarily housing the library's physical collection. They are closed except to library workers. If you need help with a physical book, please go to the Circulation Desk on the 1st floor of the library.
The 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th floors are all closed for the foreseeable future. These four floors are the start of a library wide renovation.
